Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A pharmacy opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist specializing in compounding, offering a 13-week contract-to-hire position based in Greensboro, NC. This role focuses on preparing and dispensing compounded prescriptions, both sterile and non-sterile, while collaborating closely with healthcare providers to meet patient-specific needs.
Schedule and Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Every third Saturday from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Includes a 30-minute lunch break
Responsibilities:
Prepare and dispense compounded medications accurately and safely Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient care Maintain detailed and accurate patient records while managing inventory levels Provide pharmaceutical expertise and counsel to patients to promote optimal health outcomes Assist in training and supervising pharmacy technician staff to enhance team performance
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience; new graduates with a passion for compounding are encouraged to apply Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing Experience with pharmacy software similar to QS1; training on PK software will be provided This opportunity allows pharmacists to expand their compounding expertise within a supportive environment that values accuracy and patient-centered care.
