Pharmacists report directly to a designated Pharmacy Supervisor based on area of practice. Minimum Requirements B.S. or PharmD in pharmacy is required Board of Pharmacy Specialty Certification required (BPS) 7 years of hospital pharmacist experience (or PGY1 and 5 years or PGY2 and 2 years) 10 years of hospital pharmacist experience may substitute for BPS requirement (or PGY1 and 8 years or PGY2 and 5 years) Must be licensed as a pharmacist by the NC Board of Pharmacy by start date Maintains active NC pharmacy license and provides proof of renewal prior to December 31 annually American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of hire Preferred Requirements Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Pediatrics preferred Pay Range $123572.80
