UNC Rex Healthcare's Pharmacy Team is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology to provide decentralized inpatient pharmacy services. This role supports pharmacotherapy management, medication profile review, drug information consultation, order verification, and precepting for pharmacy students and residents. What You'll Do

• Review and verify medication orders and treatment plans for safety, accuracy, and appropriateness.
• Assess patient data and therapy plans to make timely, evidence-based pharmaceutical care interventions.
• Support rational, cost-effective drug therapy and antimicrobial management.
• Provide pharmacy support to inpatient nursing units and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Counsel patients and families, participate in reporting and education, and support precepting and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications Required:

PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree; active NC pharmacist licensure or ability to obtain before employment. Recent graduates may be considered while pending licensure and must obtain licensure within required timelines.

Preferred:

Board certification in pharmacotherapy or oncology, completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency, or equivalent pharmacy experience.
