Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This pharmacy position in Central City, Nebraska, offers a great opportunity for licensed pharmacists, including newer graduates and those transitioning from retail settings. If you hold an active Nebraska Pharmacist license and are flexible to work primarily the second shift, this role could be an excellent fit.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Nebraska Pharmacist license required Open to newer graduates and pharmacists with retail experience Ability to work a minimum of 36 hours per week Willingness to cover primarily second shifts (1:00 PM - 9:00 PM) Strong communication skills and adaptability to variable schedules
Location:
Central City, NE, approximately 2.5 hours west of
Lincoln Schedule/Hours:
Primarily 2nd shift: 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM Some flexibility available; example schedules include mornings and weekends combined with second shifts Minimum of 36 hours weekly, with scheduling preferences considered upon application
Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with regulations Provide professional patient counseling and medication guidance Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care Maintain accurate records and manage inventory effectively Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards within the pharmacy
