Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is ideal for licensed pharmacists ready to deliver quality pharmaceutical care in a supportive environment located in western Nebraska. We welcome candidates at all experience levels—including recent graduates, retail pharmacists, and those local to the area—who hold an active Nebraska Pharmacist license and are interested in working primarily second shifts.
Location:
Situated approximately 2.5 hours west of Lincoln, Nebraska, this role offers a unique blend of community access and regional appeal.
Schedule & Hours:
Primarily second shift from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM Minimum 36 hours per week Flexible scheduling options available, such as 6:00 AM-6:00 PM on weekends combined with second shifts on select weekdays (e.g., Mon/Tues or Thurs/Fri) Scheduling preferences should be communicated at the time of application
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions and protocols Provide patient counseling to ensure proper medication use and adherence Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Maintain compliance with Nebraska state pharmacy laws and regulations Manage inventory and documentation, ensuring a safe and organized pharmacy environment
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
