Job Description

Job Overview Core LTC pharmacy is expanding into infusion and IV services. We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Infusion pharmacist who is excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and leading our infusion pharmacy services, helping establish workflows, procedures, quality standards, and staff training programs that will support long-term growth. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of our infusion and IV services program. Establish operational workflows, policies, and best practices. Ensure compliance with all state, federal, accreditation, and regulatory requirements. Oversee sterile compounding and quality assurance processes. Train, mentor, and develop pharmacists and pharmacy technicians involved in infusion services. Collaborate with leadership to grow and expand infusion offerings. Monitor clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Serve as the subject matter expert for infusion pharmacy services. Qualifications Valid pharmacy license with active registration in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience with sterile compounding and infusions using aseptic technique in an ISO-certified environment. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR (Electronic Health Records). Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and communicate complex medical information clearly. Experience with immunizations, medication administration protocols, inventory management, IV insertion procedures, and medical management strategies. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to patient care and safety standards such as HIPAA compliance.
Pay:
$65.00 - $75.00 per hour
