Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support its hospital pharmacy operations in Berlin, NH. This contract opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with a commitment to every third weekend working Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pharmaceutical care for patients in various hospital departments, including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency Department. Independently manage medication dispensing and support weekend coverage. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective medication use. Utilize Meditech electronic medical records system (preferred) and Omnicell automation technology (a plus).
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2-5 years of pharmacy experience, with previous hospital pharmacy work required. Experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting is highly desirable. Ability to work independently, especially during weekend shifts. Familiarity with Meditech software preferred; knowledge of Omnicell is a bonus. Permanent residence must be located at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered due to contract requirements.
Schedule and Location:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m.
Rotating weekends every third weekend:
Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Position located in a rural area of Berlin, NH; housing may be limited, so please plan accordingly.
