Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A travel opportunity is available for an Inpatient Pharmacist to serve in a hospital setting located in Berlin, New Hampshire. This contract role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 40 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m., plus rotating weekends on every third weekend with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. An ASAP start is preferred, making this an excellent chance for a pharmacist ready to step into a meaningful role quickly.
Responsibilities:
Independently manage and oversee pharmaceutical care across multiple units including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency Department. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective medication use. Utilize Meditech electronic health records and Omnicell dispensing systems to support patient care. Ensure compliance with pharmacy and hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of prior hospital pharmacy experience. Ability and willingness to work independently, especially during weekend shifts. Experience with Meditech is preferred; familiarity with Omnicell is a strong plus. Holds or is eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in New Hampshire; the state offers a temporary license option that can be explored.
