Job Overview:

This is an Oncology Pharmacist role based within the Outpatient Infusion Center for Trinitas Regional Medical Center. Located in Elizabeth, NJ, come join one of the best hospitals in New Jersey!

Qualifications:

Required:

Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in

Pharmacy or PharmD Preferred:

One year of IV sterile compounding and oncology experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

Registered Pharmacist with NJ Board of Pharmacy; current New Jersey licensure

Scheduling Requirements:

Thursday and Friday weekly (day shift) and additional shifts possible as available Per Diem (PD)

Essential Functions:

Responsible for the provision of oncology patient care Ensures that the patients receive appropriate treatment including chemotherapy and support medication management Responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of outpatient and inpatient care of oncology patients Has good interpersonal skills and maintains a relationship within the interdisciplinary care team Proficient in EPIC, Beacon and navigation within the system Exercises considerable independent decision-making
