Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical pharmacist position is available for a 13-week contract assignment starting on September 8. This role requires inpatient clinical pharmacy experience and comfort working with the EPIC electronic medical record system. Candidates must be willing to travel, as local applicants within a 50-mile radius will not be considered. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Newark, NJ Schedule/Hours:
Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30
PM Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Minimum of 1 year inpatient clinical pharmacy experience Proficiency with
EPIC EMR
system Licensed pharmacist eligible to practice in the state Willingness to travel and relocate for the duration of the contract No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical pharmacy services Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy Conduct medication reconciliation, review prescriptions, and monitor patient responses Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements Document clinical interventions and medication profiles accurately in EPIC This contract offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic inpatient clinical setting with a well-established health system.
