Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 13-week contract opportunity is available for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support a hospital setting starting September 8th. This role offers a dedicated 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shift and is ideal for professionals ready to travel, as candidates must be located at least 50 miles outside of Newark, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inpatient pharmacy operations to ensure accurate and timely medication distribution Utilize electronic medical records with proficiency in EPIC to document patient information and dispensing activities Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy Maintain compliance with hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and safety protocols
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience Licensed pharmacist in good standing with relevant credentials Familiarity with hospital inpatient pharmacy systems and workflows Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Location:
Newark, NJ (travel required; no local candidates within 50 miles)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30
