Job Overview Pharmpro is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated. Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Newark, NJ a retail
  • outpatient in hospital setting .
The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical care, ensuring medication safety, and supporting optimal patient outcomes across various clinical settings. The Pharmacist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based pharmaceutical services.

  • 3:00 pm) Duties Dispense medications accurately in accordance with physicians' prescriptions while adhering to pharmaceutical regulations and safety standards.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy, considering pharmacology, physiology, and medical terminology. Manage IV infusions and aseptic techniques for sterile compounding in hospital pharmacy settings. Provide clinical pharmacy services in specialized units such as
ICU, PICU
(Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), oncology, and emergency room environments. Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting therapy as necessary to optimize outcomes and minimize adverse effects. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards and maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems. Precept pharmacy residents and students, fostering education in pharmacotherapeutics, acute pain management, and drug regulation. Participate in medication reconciliation processes and support hospital initiatives for medication safety. Collaborate with healthcare providers on patient care plans involving pharmacology, physiology knowledge, and medication administration. Oversee pharmacy information systems (PIS) to enhance workflow efficiency and ensure accurate medication dispensing.
Pay:
$59.00
