Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations during a 13-week contract assignment starting September 8. The position is located in Paterson, NJ, and offers a weekday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with at least one year of inpatient experience and proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense and verify medications accurately for hospitalized patients Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy plans Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Maintain accurate documentation within
EPIC EMR
system Participate in medication reviews and inventory management
Qualifications:
Active pharmacist license Minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records Strong communication and clinical skills Willingness to travel; local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This contract role offers an excellent chance for expanded clinical experience in a hospital setting.
