The successful candidate will be responsible for filling prescriptions, providing medication information to patients, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of pharmacological principles, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications and provide information to patients about their medications. Monitor patient health and progress to ensure the safe and effective use of medications. Provide advice on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications. Review and interpret physicians' prescriptions for accuracy. Maintain patient records and document all medication dispensing activities. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding the practice of pharmacy.
