Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Per Diem An ongoing per diem opportunity is available for a Pharmacist-in-Charge to support a medical supply company's operations. This role involves oversight to enable shipment of medical products to Montana, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements without the need for a Montana state license.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) under the home state license. Ensure appropriate documentation, accurate recordkeeping, and correct labeling of shipped products. Verify and identify Montana patients receiving legend products, including shipment details. Maintain compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations for mail order pharmacies. Collaborate with the company as per business arrangements, supporting regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Hold an active and clear pharmacist license from any U.S. state. Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and recordkeeping standards. Ability to manage documentation and compliance tasks efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Prior experience serving as a PIC or in a regulatory compliance role is preferred.
Location:
Position is based in Toms River, NJ, with work conducted to fulfill Montana shipment requirements.
Schedule/Hours:
Approximately 1 hour per week, flexible to accommodate other commitments. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist seeking a part-time, low-hour commitment that can be performed alongside other work or responsibilities. The assignment is ongoing, offering consistency and an important compliance function within the company's operations.
