Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to support their team in a community hospital setting. This opportunity involves working in a smaller facility of approximately 80 beds, offering a focused and impactful environment for patient care.
Location:
Caballo, NM Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication therapy management and patient counseling. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication use and ensure patient safety. Oversee medication dispensing in the hospital setting, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to developing treatment plans. Monitor drug therapies and adjust recommendations based on patient response. Maintain thorough documentation of pharmacy activities and patient care interventions.
Qualifications:
Valid New Mexico pharmacist license is required. Experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred, especially in clinical roles. Strong knowledge of medication protocols, pharmacy regulations, and patient safety standards. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. Ability to work independently with attention to detail and professional judgment.
