This role requires a licensed and skilled pharmacist who can ensure accurate medication dispensing, provide patient counseling, and lead pharmacy technician staff efficiently.

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday:

9:00 AM to 6:00

PM Wednesday, Friday:

9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Closed weekends and six major holidays at the primary location Occasional weekend shifts may be required at a secondary retail location

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active New Mexico Pharmacist License in good standing, or willingness to obtain prior to start Disclosure and verification of all active and inactive pharmacist licenses Minimum of one year of experience as a registered pharmacist preferred APhA Pharmacy Based Immunization Delivery Certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days Flexibility to cover shifts, including occasional weekends, at a secondary retail location

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare, review, and dispense medication orders following protocols Maintain detailed and accurate patient medication profiles Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians, verifying daily activities Participate in emergency medical response alongside the pharmacy team Conduct medication storage inspections, identifying outdated medications Assist in orienting and training new pharmacy team members Follow infection control practices throughout all pharmacy operations This contract opportunity suits an experienced retail pharmacist adept at thriving in dynamic environments.
