Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity exists for a knowledgeable inpatient pharmacist to provide overnight pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting. This contract role is based in the Corrales, NM area, supporting patient care across multiple hospital campuses. Candidates holding or actively pursuing a New Mexico pharmacist license are encouraged to apply, as licensure can be posted within 10 days.
Responsibilities include:
Managing medication distribution and administration for inpatients during the overnight shift Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure accurate medication therapy and patient safety Utilizing
EPIC EMR
system for order verification and documentation Assisting with pharmaceutical needs at both Women's and Westside hospital campuses as required
Qualifications and Experience:
Active NM pharmacist license or license pending with application proof Minimum of one year inpatient pharmacy experience Familiarity with hospital pharmacy workflows and inpatient medication management Ability to work independently on a 7-on/7-off schedule, 8:30 pm to 7:00 am Open to first-time travel pharmacists willing to support multi-campus coverage
Location:
Corrales, New Mexico, with some coverage at neighboring hospital sites This contract position begins on September 28 and runs for approximately 13 weeks.
