Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital pharmacist opportunity is available in Elephant Butte, NM, offering a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension. This role focuses on delivering essential inpatient pharmacy services within a hospital setting during day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders with precision to ensure patient safety Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow Handle clinical and operational calls directed to the pharmacy Provide pharmacokinetic monitoring and support for patient medication management Support inpatient pharmacy services with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
Desired Qualifications/Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in New Mexico or eligible for a temporary NM pharmacy license Solid inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Availability for full-time hours during the specified shift Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical environment This role suits pharmacists seeking challenging inpatient work with clinical oversight and operational responsibilities.
