Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical pharmacist position is available for a 13-week contract located in Los Lunas, NM, offering a 7-on/7-off night shift schedule from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM. This role supports inpatient pharmacy services across both the Women's and Westside campuses as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Dispensing medications accurately for inpatient care Utilizing pharmacy automation systems such as Pyxis and Carousel Supervising pharmacy technicians and performing medication verification Contributing to IV medication preparation and management (IV experience is a plus) Working collaboratively with clinical teams using the EPIC electronic medical records system
Qualifications:
At least one year of inpatient pharmacy experience is required A valid New Mexico pharmacist license is mandatory Ability to provide flexible coverage between multiple campuses Willingness to travel; first-time travelers are welcome to apply Familiarity with pharmacy automation technology and inpatient clinical processes This position is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists who want to broaden their clinical skills in a dynamic hospital environment while working a consistent and structured schedule.
