Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacist ready to provide essential pharmaceutical care in a critical access hospital setting. The role is based in Ranchos De Taos, NM, serving a facility with a patient capacity of approximately 25.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety. Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support. Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care. Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring and assessments.

Qualifications:

Active New Mexico pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain a temporary license. Minimum of 2 years' experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting. Strong knowledge of medication management in a hospital environment.

Schedule:

Day shifts: 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) This contract position offers a term of 13 weeks or longer, providing a substantial opportunity to impact patient care in a close-knit hospital environment.
