A Business Development Specialist identifies new business opportunities and clients for a company, identifies new products, services and lines of business, and develops marketing and sales strategies to help grow a company's business. Collects and manages data on sales and business processes, does market research, and stays informed of industry trends and dynamics. Builds customer relationships and partnerships. Reports to a Business Development Manager or Director.

Client Support:
Assist business advisors in providing one-on-one consultations to entrepreneurs and small business owners, addressing their needs, and helping them develop strategies for growth.Market Research:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, potential clients, and industry best practices. Prepare reports and summaries to aid in client decision-making processes.Administrative Tasks:
Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing client databases.Minimum Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills both online and in-person. Capacity to multitask, word, spreadsheet, database, scheduling and email applications. Genuine interest in supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs in their growth journey. Eagerness to learn about various aspects of business development.
