Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to provide critical pharmaceutical care in a close-knit hospital setting. This position supports a Critical Access Hospital with a patient census of up to 25, focusing on delivering high-quality inpatient pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring and adjust therapies as needed Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
Desired Qualifications:
Valid New Mexico pharmacist license or eligibility for a temporary license Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience, ideally within a hospital or similar setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively consult with healthcare teams Proficiency in medication order verification and pharmacokinetic principles

Schedule:
