Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacy professional is needed for a contract position in Williamsburg, NM, starting ASAP for approximately 13 weeks or longer. This role focuses on inpatient pharmacy staffing with a variety of critical responsibilities, primarily during 10-hour day shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety. Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support for daily operations. Manage incoming calls to the pharmacy, addressing concerns and inquiries promptly. Apply pharmacokinetics knowledge to optimize patient medication therapy. Collaborate with healthcare teams to support inpatient medication management.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active New Mexico pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain a temporary license. Experience working in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting. Full-time availability to cover extended shifts. Strong communication and supervisory skills. Attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
