Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Direct Hire A Specialty Pharmacy focused on a select range of medications including GLP-1s, allergy treatments, and immunotherapies seeks an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead operations and compliance. This direct hire opportunity offers Monday through Friday day shifts with significant growth potential in a rapidly expanding pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge, upholding compliance with USP , , FDA, and state pharmacy regulations. Manage sterile compounding operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, quality assurance, and personnel oversight. Navigate and maintain compliance with multi-state pharmacy regulations, notably Nevada and California. Develop, enforce, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to sterile compounding. Recruit, train, and supervise pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Coordinate pharmacy inspections, audits, and maintain positive regulatory relationships. Oversee environmental monitoring, validation, and documentation activities. Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations. Collaborate with leadership on operational strategy, licensing, and business growth initiatives. Maintain impeccable records to guarantee inspection readiness at all times.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' pharmacy experience, preferably in hospital, infusion, or specialty pharmacy settings. Active Nevada pharmacist license required; California license strongly preferred due to business focus. Residency in the Las Vegas area is highly desirable. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage a team. Willingness and ability to obtain additional licenses in other states as the pharmacy expands.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, day shifts. This role includes support from a leading compliance consultant to ensure full regulatory adherence, providing a robust foundation for success.
