Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A specialty pharmacy seeking a permanent Pharmacist-in-Charge to lead operations in a newly built facility focused on compounding and dispensing select therapies including GLP-1 medications, allergy treatments, and immunotherapies. This role is a key leadership position tasked with establishing a high-quality, compliant pharmacy environment in Las Vegas, NV.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge ensuring full compliance with USP, FDA, and state pharmacy regulations, including multi-state licensing (especially NV and CA). Oversee sterile compounding operations, ensuring adherence to workflow efficiency, quality assurance, and strict environmental monitoring. Develop, maintain, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures for sterile compounding. Recruit, train, and manage pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to build a strong, reliable team. Lead pharmacy inspections, audits, and regulatory engagements with the assistance of a retained Compliance consultant. Manage documentation, validation, and record-keeping to ensure inspection readiness. Collaborate in strategic planning for pharmacy expansion and licensing efforts. Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Current active Nevada pharmacist license required; California license highly preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital, infusion, or specialty pharmacy settings. Proven leadership experience with strong people and organizational skills. Ability and willingness to obtain additional state licenses as the business grows. Familiarity with compounding sterile preparations and multi-state regulatory compliance.
Location & Schedule:
Las Vegas, NV Monday through Friday, day-shift schedule
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive base salary around $170,000 per year. $10,000 annual incentives. Potential for profit-sharing bonus structure as the pharmacy grows, ideal for entrepreneurial candidates.
