Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Direct Hire A newly established specialty pharmacy in Henderson, NV, focuses on a select range of medications including GLP-1s, allergy treatments, and immunotherapies. This facility recently opened to bring compounding operations in-house and is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead and grow the team. This permanent role offers an exciting chance to shape a growing pharmacy's future, with strong salary potential and professional development. Support is provided by a top-tier compliance consultant to ensure full regulatory adherence, making this an excellent fit for experienced leaders in specialty pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensuring compliance with USP , , FDA, and state regulations Oversee sterile compounding workflows, personnel management, and quality assurance programs Maintain compliance with multi-state pharmacy laws, including Nevada and California licensing requirements Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sterile compounding practice Recruit, supervise, and train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians Manage inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions to ensure ongoing compliance Oversee environmental monitoring, validation processes, and documentation efforts Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations Collaborate with leadership on strategic operations, licensing initiatives, and business expansion Keep accurate records and maintain continuous readiness for inspections Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Active Nevada pharmacist license required; California license highly preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital, infusion, or specialty pharmacy settings Strong knowledge of sterile compounding standards and multi-state regulatory requirements Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and team-building skills Flexibility to obtain additional licenses as the pharmacy expands operations Resides locally in Las Vegas or surrounding areas preferred
Schedule:
