Job Description
Job Description This is a patient-focused compounding pharmacy operating out of a state-of-the-art facility in Las Vegas. The pharmacy specializes in preparing customized medications tailored to individual patient needs and provides in-office dispensing services. They are seeking a hands-on Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage the compounding process alongside an existing Pharmacy Technician. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Pharmacist who enjoys both operational leadership and clinical compounding work. They should be comfortable overseeing a Pharmacy Technician, ensuring regulatory compliance, and playing a key role in a growing pharmacy that focuses on individualized patient medications. A strong background in compounding and a desire to be involved in the day-to-day success of the operation will be critical. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Oversee all pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Perform and supervise sterile and/or non-sterile compounding activities
- Review, verify, and dispense customized medications prescribed for individual patients
- Lead and manage the current onsite Pharmacy Technician
- Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards within the pharmacy
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping, inventory management, and documentation
- Collaborate with providers and patients regarding compounded medications as needed

- Sterile compounding experience
- Experience overseeing pharmacy operations
- Strong knowledge of USP standards, pharmacy regulations, and quality assurance processes
- Ability to work onsite five days per week
- Leadership experience managing or supervising pharmacy staff
- Experience within an institutional pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, or quality laboratory environment
- Previous experience building or improving pharmacy workflows
- Strong operational and business-minded approach
