Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire Opportunity for a dedicated Pharmacist-in-Charge to lead a newly established specialty pharmacy with a strong focus on compounding operations. This permanent role is based in a brand-new facility that specializes in GLP-1 medications, allergy treatments, and immunotherapies. As the pioneering PIC, you will play a critical role in shaping the pharmacy's growth by building a team of pharmacists and technicians.

Las Vegas, NV Schedule:
Monday - Friday, day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensuring full compliance with USP, FDA, and state pharmacy board regulations Oversee sterile compounding processes, including workflow management, personnel supervision, and quality assurance Ensure adherence to multi-state pharmacy regulations, with emphasis on California and other relevant states Develop, maintain, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sterile compounding Hire, train, and supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacists and technicians Manage inspections, audits, and ongoing regulatory interactions Oversee environmental monitoring, documentation, and validation programs Ensure safe handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations Collaborate with leadership on operational strategy, licensing, and business expansion initiatives Maintain comprehensive records, ensuring continual readiness for inspections
Qualifications:
Active Nevada pharmacy license; possession of a California license a strong advantage Minimum of 3 years' experience in hospital, infusion, or specialty pharmacy environments Strong regulatory knowledge and proven ability to maintain compliance in sterile compounding Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, able to foster a collaborative team environment Ability and willingness to obtain additional state licenses as business demands increase This position offers excellent salary potential with approximately $170,000 annually plus $10,000 in incentives. A profit-sharing bonus structure will be introduced as the pharmacy grows, providing an attractive opportunity for candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset.
