Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract A pharmacy requires an Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to provide essential leadership and oversight in a 340B pharmacy setting. This role is ideal for candidates holding multiple pharmacist licenses, ready to step in promptly in case of PIC vacancy.
Location:
Onsite in New York and California (final details pending)
Duration:
3 to 6 months contract
Schedule:
Day and afternoon shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Fulfill all Pharmacist in Charge duties, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence within the pharmacy Manage pharmacy staff and workflows while maintaining accurate records and reporting Oversee 340B program requirements and maintain adherence to applicable state and federal regulations Provide professional guidance and support to pharmacy team members
Qualifications:
Active pharmacist licenses in multiple states, with priority given to candidates licensed in one or more of the following: AK, AL, AR, CA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WV Previous experience serving as a Pharmacist in Charge or in a similar leadership role highly preferred Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, 340B program guidelines, and operational procedures Excellent organizational and communication skills This contract opportunity offers a chance to utilize multiple licenses in a critical leadership capacity. If you hold several pharmacist licenses and are interested in interim PIC work, please submit your application to be considered for this role. Compensation for this position ranges from $65.00 to $85.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
