About Us Randall's/Holland Patent Pharmacy is a private, locally owned, community-focused pharmacy dedicated to providing personalized healthcare services and exceptional customer care. Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, committed to pharmacy excellence, and enjoy working in a personalized retail environment where building relationships with patients is a top priority. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, providing medication counseling, supporting pharmacy and retail operations, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, interactions, and health-related concerns. Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies. Administer immunizations and other clinical services as permitted by state regulations. Resolve insurance and prescription-related issues when needed. Maintain accurate patient records and prescription documentation. Promote medication adherence and overall wellness through patient education. Provide outstanding customer service and foster positive relationships within the community. Assist with inventory management, medication ordering, and quality assurance activities as directed. Willingness to support all aspects of daily pharmacy and retail operations, including assisting customers, operating the point-of-sale system, stocking shelves, processing shipments, and contributing to overall store success. Qualifications Required Active Pharmacist license in the State of New York. Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, laws and applicable regulations. Demonstrated attention to detail, a commitment to patient safety, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Previous experience in an independent or retail pharmacy setting. Immunization certification. Work Schedule Part-time position averaging 18-26 hours per week. Flexible scheduling required, including alternating weekend shifts and coverage at both of our pharmacy locations. Additional shifts may be available based on business needs. Compensation & Benefits Hourly wages based on experience. Flexible scheduling.
