This is a 100% in-person position . We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates, and some Saturday availability is required based on the pharmacy schedule. What You'll Do Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness Perform final pharmacist verification of compounded prescriptions Review calculations, formulations, ingredients, labels, and documentation Supervise pharmacy technicians and compounding activities Communicate with prescribers regarding clarifications, refills, dosing questions, and other clinical matters Provide pharmacist counseling to patients, caregivers, and pet owners as appropriate. Help maintain efficient prescription workflow and turnaround times Ensure pharmacy SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are followed Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation Support inspections, audits, licensing, and compliance activities Identify and resolve prescription, workflow, quality, or compliance issues Work closely with technicians, customer service, operations, and pharmacy leadership

What We're Looking For Required:

Active New York Pharmacist License in good standing PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited pharmacy program Ability to work on-site Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced pharmacy environment Comfortable supervising pharmacy technicians and support staff

Preferred:

Active pharmacist licenses in multiple states Compounding pharmacy experience Veterinary pharmacy experience Non-sterile compounding experience Familiarity with USP & Experience in a high-volume pharmacy Experience communicating directly with prescribers Experience with pharmacy management software Interest in obtaining additional state pharmacist licenses Schedule Full-time or part-time opportunities available Consistent weekly availability preferred Some Saturdays required In-person only — no remote or hybrid work About Blend Labs Rx Blend Labs Rx is a growing compounding pharmacy focused on providing customized medications with high-touch service, strong pharmacist support, and efficient turnaround times.
