Job Description
Oncology Pharmacist (Hospital-Based) White Plains, NY Make a meaningful impact in oncology care. We're seeking a dedicated Oncology Pharmacist to join our hospital-based Inpatient Pharmacy team in White Plains, NY. In this role, you'll work at the center of a collaborative care model, supporting patients across our Infusion Center, Hematology/Oncology Unit, and Oncology Physician Practices. If you're experienced in oncology, passionate about advancing cancer care, collaborating with top clinicians, and ensuring the safe, effective use of complex therapies, this is an opportunity to grow your clinical expertise while making a real difference in patients' lives. Schedule Full-Time Monday to Friday, from 10:00a-6:00p with alternating weekends/holidays What You'll Do Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to oncology patients, including clinical review and medication dispensing Collaborate closely with Hematology/Oncology and Infectious Disease physicians, nurses, and care teams Review and verify medication orders to ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance with hospital standards Support infusion services and IV medication preparation as needed Educate patients and caregivers on oncology medications, safety, and treatment expectations Supervise Pharmacy Assistants and contribute to a high-performing pharmacy team Participate in infection control, quality improvement (PI), and risk management initiatives Stay current with oncology best practices, therapies, and regulatory requirements Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement What We're Looking For BS in Pharmacy (minimum) from an accredited program Active New York State Pharmacist license and registration 2-3 years of oncology specific - hospital pharmacy experience Ongoing continuing education, including at least 3 annual CE credits in Oncology/Chemotherapy Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Preferred:
