In September 2025, we are opening a state-of-the-art ambulatory care facility at 1111 Westchester Avenue in White Plains, a center designed to set new standards in patient experience, convenience, and quality care. Led by top Columbia doctors, this multi-disciplinary facility will offer specialized adult and pediatric care all under one roof. In this position you will be responsible for: Providing and compounding prescribed medications, IV mixtures, and other pharmaceuticals according to professional standards and practices. Providing information and services necessary for safe and appropriate use of drugs to patients, families, medical and nursing staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Reviewing and interpreting medication orders written by physicians or other authorized health care providers. Verifying orders for completeness, accuracy and appropriateness in accordance with pharmaceutical care standards and prescribed policies and procedures. Reviewing patient profiles and problems, i.e. drug interactions, drug allergies, therapeutic duplication, contraindications, drug-drug incompatibilities, dosing, and adverse drug reactions relating to the new order or order changes.
Preferred Criteria:
1 year of experience in a hospital or infusion pharmacy
Required Criteria:
Current NYS Pharmacist license PharmD or Bachelor Pharmacy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to instill trust, drive engagement and effectively collaborate Knowledge of Pharmacotherapy and Pharmacokinetics Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
