Registered Pharmacist:

Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely Review prescriptions for appropriate dosing, interactions, allergies, and contraindications Provide medication counseling and education to patients and caregivers Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy Monitor patient medication regimens and identify potential issues Maintain accurate medication and patient records Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulations Safely prepare and verify medications according to established standards Support medication management and quality improvement initiatives Maintain knowledge of current medications, pharmacy practices, and clinical guidelines

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Registered Pharmacist experience 5 years of experience preferred Active New York State Pharmacist license PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree from an accredited program Strong knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and safe dispensing practices Excellent communication and patient-care skills Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a healthcare team Why Work in White Plains?
