Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Direct Hire An established compounding pharmacy is seeking a seasoned Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead regulatory compliance and quality operations at their Ohio facility. This on-site position offers long-term stability, leadership exposure, and the opportunity to influence critical processes in a nationally recognized organization. Candidates open to relocation will receive support, and a temp-to-perm option is available for those considering a travel assignment.

Albany, Ohio Schedule:
Monday through Friday, onsite
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Pharmacist-in-Charge for Ohio, and maintain licensure in additional states as needed Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, State Boards of Pharmacy, and Section 503B regulations Lead inspections from regulatory bodies and represent the facility during audits and meetings Develop, review, and maintain SOPs and training programs Oversee regulatory reporting, recalls, complaints, and quality investigations Manage Quality Assurance and Control functions, including batch record review, deviations, investigations, and environmental monitoring Oversee validation activities, change controls, labeling, and annual product reviews Manage incoming materials, vendor qualifications, and reserve sample programs Present quality metrics to site and corporate leadership
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing teams Experience with multi-state licensure preferred Strong knowledge of c
GMP, FDA, DEA
regulations, sterile injectable manufacturing, and non-sterile compounding Proven track record leading inspections and regulatory audits Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficient in
Microsoft Office Preferred:
10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries 7+ years in quality or compliance roles with increasing responsibility
