Staff Pharmacist

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An urgent need for an experienced pharmacist has arisen to support a digital/mail order pharmacy facing a significant volume increase. This role focuses on dispensing non-insurance medications, primarily generics, with some brands and specialty medications. Serving all 50 states plus DC, the pharmacy requires efficient, detail-oriented professionals to ensure smooth fulfillment and excellent patient care.

Location:

Cincinnati, OH (must hold a Kentucky pharmacy license; Cincinnati pharmacists with KY licensure encouraged to apply)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 2:00 PM to 10:00

PM Duration:

13 weeks, starting

ASAP Key Responsibilities:

Perform full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment accurately and efficiently Verify prescriptions and medication labels Supervise pharmacy technicians during shifts to maintain workflow and quality Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, high-volume environment Collaborate effectively with the team to manage increased workload

Desired Experience:

Strong background in high-volume retail pharmacy settings preferred Familiarity with digital/mail order pharmacy processes is a plus Valid pharmacy license in Kentucky is required Excellent communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment This contract opportunity is ideal for pharmacists who excel under pressure, embrace new workflows, and have a commitment to quality care.
