Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire An opportunity is available for an Infusion Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations in a home infusion setting, focused on delivering safe, home-based intravenous therapies. This direct hire position is based in Dublin, OH, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and requires schedule flexibility for administrative on-call duties.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management. Lead, train, and manage pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, handling recruitment, orientation, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as State Boards of Pharmacy laws and USP compounding guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare providers to maintain clinical excellence in infusion therapies and optimize patient outcomes. Engage in branch budgeting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives to drive business success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Ohio. 5-7 years of clinical and operational experience in a home infusion or acute care pharmacy setting. Proven leadership skills managing pharmacy teams with a strong emphasis on training and orientation. Comprehensive knowledge of IV admixture services and relevant regulatory accreditation. Experience with CPR+ and CareTend systems highly preferred. Prior home infusion experience is strongly preferred; candidates with specialty pharmacy experience will also be considered.
