Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available for a contract assignment at healthcare facilities in Galion and Ontario, OH, with a combined total of 65 beds. This role involves essential inpatient pharmacy responsibilities supporting quality patient care through collaboration with medical teams. The position requires a pharmacist with a current Ohio license who is comfortable overseeing daily pharmacy operations including supervising pharmacy technicians and ensuring clean room standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills are crucial for effective collaboration with doctors and nurses. Both sites utilize EPIC for clinical documentation and workflow management. Shift flexibility is required, with start times between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., and work every fourth weekend. The assignment duration is 14 weeks, beginning as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate inpatient pharmacy services. Supervise and train pharmacy technicians. Maintain clean room and sterile environment compliance. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Utilize EPIC for patient records and medication management.Desired Qualifications and Experience:
