Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An experienced inpatient pharmacist is needed to provide pharmaceutical care at a hospital in north/central Ohio, serving either the Galion or Ontario location. These facilities, with 25 and 40 beds respectively, utilize EPIC for their electronic medical records system. This role offers a contract opportunity lasting approximately 26 weeks, starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties, including medication dispensing and preparation Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee clean room operations Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards Promote a culture of kindness, responsibility, confidence, and collaboration within the pharmacy team
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Ohio pharmacist license Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy practice Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to supervise pharmacy staff and manage clean room environments Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records preferred
Schedule:
Flexible shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM Work every fourth weekend This contract role provides the opportunity to contribute to quality patient care in a collaborative setting.
