Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is seeking a Temporary Staff Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical services in a hospital setting. This contract role requires Ohio pharmacist licensure and a commitment to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with additional on-call duties and occasional Saturday shifts.

Location:

Lancaster, OH (on-site)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM On-call after some shifts Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 4:30

PM Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently for inpatient and outpatient services Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure appropriate medication therapy Manage pharmaceutical needs across specialty areas including Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedics Utilize EPIC order entry system for medication orders (experience highly preferred) Provide on-call support as required Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

Current and valid Ohio pharmacist license Experience with EPIC order entry system preferred Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment Strong communication and collaborative skills Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations and specialty areas a plus This position offers the opportunity to contribute to quality patient care in a community hospital setting with a supportive team environment.
