Department:
South Campus Pharmacy Shift/schedule:
Full Time (40 hrs/wk)GENERAL SUMMARY
Works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager. The primary job function of the Registered Pharmacist is to distribute medications and supplies according to departmental procedures with the assistance of pharmacy technicians. Collaborates with physicians and other hospital staff on medication related matters. Educates patients and their families to optimize drug therapy.QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam Required
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (5 year) is required
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) is also preferred
Licensure:
- Pharmacy(OH) license required
- Graduate Pharmacists may also be hired awaiting license
- BLS within 90 days of hire required
Experience:
