Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A Clinical Pharmacist Operations Specialist position is available at a leading healthcare facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, offering an opportunity to contribute to advanced patient care while managing key operational practice areas within the pharmacy department. This direct hire role involves an 8-hour day shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of specialty pharmacy practice areas such as IV room management, diversion/narcotics control, informatics, and residency program coordination. Provide pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist when needed. Support users, perform maintenance, troubleshoot systems, and ensure adherence to pharmacy policies and procedures. Coordinate upgrade testing and education initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide training on operational specialty areas. Act as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
B.S. or Pharm.

D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy. Clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting. Completion of an accredited PGY-1 residency or fellowship, plus completion of a PGY-2 specialty residency or fellowship; OR a PGY-1 residency plus 3+ years of clinical pharmacy experience; OR 5+ years of clinical pharmacy experience without residency. Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy. Current BLS and
ALS/ACLS
certifications.
Preferred:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification or other nationally recognized specialty certification.
