Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity seeks two Pharmacists to support a specialized long-term acute care and rehabilitation hospital environment in Oklahoma. These critical roles involve providing comprehensive pharmacy services across one or two inpatient hospital sites, focusing on safe and effective medication management.
Location:
Broken Arrow, OK and Muscogee, OK Position Type:
Contract with potential for contract-to-hire
Schedule:
Day shifts
Contract Duration:
13 weeks, with ASAP start
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operational tasks Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize drug therapies Collaborate with the healthcare team to support inpatient care needs Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Oklahoma pharmacist license required Previous hospital or acute care pharmacy experience preferred, but all candidates will be considered Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently Ability to cover one or both hospital sites, with flexibility preferred This contract role provides a rewarding environment for pharmacists eager to impact patient outcomes in a specialized care setting.
