Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy services in the Portland, OR area. This contract position offers an ASAP start with variable afternoon shifts, providing flexibility and an opportunity to apply your pharmacy expertise in a dynamic hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and safely in an inpatient environment Utilize EPIC electronic health record and Pyxis automated medication systems effectively Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication regimens Monitor medication storage and adherence to safety protocols Provide patient education and counseling as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Oregon Pharmacist License required Experience in inpatient pharmacy practice preferred Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system highly desirable Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing technology Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Schedule/Hours:
Variable afternoon shifts Days and times may vary to accommodate hospital staffing needs
