Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital infusion center in Gold Beach, Oregon is seeking a knowledgeable Oncology Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy services within their new Oncology Infusion Center. This 26-week contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with oncology nurses and providers to support infusion patients in a dynamic hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail Prepare and dispense chemotherapy medications safely Compound hazardous drugs following appropriate protocols Collaborate with the oncology care team to optimize treatment plans Utilize EPIC electronic health record system effectively
Qualifications & Experience:
Current, active Oregon Pharmacist License (RPh) Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree Proven experience working as a pharmacist in a hospital or infusion oncology center Expertise in chemotherapy medication preparation Hazardous drug compounding experience is essential Ability to work Monday-Friday on 8-hour shifts
