Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An experienced Pharmacist with a focus on oncology is needed to support a new Oncology Infusion Center within a hospital pharmacy setting in Gold Beach, Oregon. This role involves direct collaboration with oncology nurses and providers to deliver exceptional care to infusion patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety Prepare chemotherapy medications with precision Compound hazardous drugs following strict safety protocols Collaborate closely with oncology teams to support infusion treatments
Qualifications:
PharmD degree required Active Oregon Pharmacist License (RPh) Proven experience as a pharmacist in a hospital oncology center or infusion center Oncology pharmacy experience, including chemotherapy medication preparation Expertise in hazardous drug compounding Familiarity with using EPIC electronic health records
Schedule & Contract Details:
