Quick Start Mandatory Requirements to Apply Active, unrestricted California Pharmacist (RPh) license . Minimum 3 years of professional pharmacist experience . Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.

D. from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program. Current BLS certification . Strong experience with retail pharmacy operations , prescription processing, medication dispensing, and patient counseling. Knowledge of California and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, controlled-substance requirements, and medication safety. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians, pharmacy technicians, interns, and other healthcare staff. Roles & Responsibilities Dispense and compound prescription medications accurately while reviewing prescriptions for appropriate dosage, ingredients, interactions, and safety. Counsel patients regarding medications, including drug interactions, side effects, dosage, storage, and proper use. Oversee pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring appropriate workflow and compliance with pharmacist-to-technician and pharmacist-to-intern ratios. Manage prescription processing, inventory, controlled substances, third-party insurance rejections, pharmacy records, quality assurance, and medication-safety procedures. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals while maintaining compliance with applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations. Bonus & Benefits +
