Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire An established retail pharmacy in Dingmans Ferry, PA is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join their team as a direct hire. This role offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, averaging 69 hours biweekly, with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster collaborative relationships with store operations and pharmacy associates to drive engagement and communicate strategic goals. Ensure accuracy and compliance in all prescription dispensing through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Quality Assurance measures. Manage the pharmacy department by promoting script growth via clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Collaborate with district management to control inventory, forecast demand, and maximize profitability. Set and monitor performance objectives aligned with key departmental metrics to enhance operational effectiveness. Deliver excellent customer service through healthcare counseling and effective resolution of customer inquiries. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, providing training, coaching, and disciplinary guidance as needed. Maintain the security and organization of the pharmacy environment. Engage with physicians and utilize resources to clarify prescription information or resolve issues. Oversee department maintenance tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
