Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a part-time long-term care setting with a contract opportunity offering 24 hours per week. Docutrack, and PCC Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders entered by data entry technicians for multiple care settings, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Inspect both blister-packed and sterile/non-sterile medications to maintain quality control. Respond to phone inquiries from nursing facilities, hospice nurses, and physicians, providing clinical guidance as needed. Manage controlled substances by counting inventory and maintaining perpetual records. Monitor and check emergency medication boxes to guarantee readiness.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Licensed pharmacist registered in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy. Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience; long-term care experience preferred. Physical ability to sit, stand, and perform fine motor tasks; visual acuity is required. Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
